Guess my Garden Instructions

The Guess my Garden game

A team can:
 

Begin by opening the Guess my Garden City:


 

To challenge:

  1. Modify the Random Garden using "Magic wand" and "Dusty" .

Maximum number of objects: 12

  1. Give the box "Extractions" to the bird "nest"
  • Now the situation should be similar to this:
     
  • Create a text with your names (ex. ) and drop it on page 2 of  the notebook "a challenge" to name it.
     
  • Give to the bird .
  • Press R and get box  with 100 extractions
  • Put the box on page 4 of the notebook "a challenge" obtaining 
  • Repeat points 4.- 5.- 6. saving:
    •   extractions on page 6
    • extractions on page 8
       
    • extractions on page 10
       
    1. Open page 1 of your "a challenge" notebook and save it
       
    2. Exit ToonTalk and Publish your "a Challenge" notebook as a comment to this web page.
       

    To respond:

    1. Open the Guess my Garden City and enter the respond house
       
    2. Leave ToonTalk choosing the "Come Back Later" option.
       
    3. Download the notebook containing the data for the challenge you have to answer.
    4. Go back to ToonTalk, the downloaded notebook should be on the ground
    5. Take the "Respond" notebook and get the tools "box to nest" , "bar graph" , and "counters" .
       
    6. Use to copy the box of "box of nest" and give it to the bird of the "bar graph" tool
    7. Take the box from the and give it  the bird of the "counters" tool .
       
    8. Take out the "bar graph" rectangle , the "counters" box , and the "box" bird of the box to nest"  and drop them on the floor to obtain a situation like this: 
    9. Go to page 4 of the "a challenge" notebook , take the extraction box and give it t the bird "box" . Take note of the obtained numbers and graph.
    10. Repeat point 9. going to pages 6, 8 and 10 of the "a challenge" notebook
       
    11. What Random Garden generated these results? Make a conjecture and go to the house "Challenge" of the Guess my Garden City to create a Random Garden  that gives similar results.
       
    12. If you want you can verify your conjecture analysing the results of your new random garden . Preiously you have to mount the tools giving a copy of its box "extractions" to the bird of a "bar graph" and giving the box "extractions" to the bird of the "counters" . The situation should be similar to this:
       
    13. Now you can give numbers to the bird and observe the results.
       
    14. When you are satisfied with your new Random Garden you can save it and go to publish it as a comment to the challenge you are responding to.
       


     

    When your challenge is responded


    If the garden that someone posted is the same thing as your original one

        say something nice, upload your original, and think of a tougher challenge.

    If the responder has not uncovered your garden
        publish your garden to show that your garden is different.

    To publish a challenge
    : comment this page selecting the option "other", writing "Challenge by YOUR NAMES" in the form, and clicking the button GO. Then upload your Challenge Notebook   in your comment and save it.

    To respond to a challenge: locate the challenge in this page; select the option "other" below the challenge writing "Response by YOUR NAMES" in the form and clicking the button GO. Then upload your Random Garden in your comment and save it.

    To give the solution of your challenge: locate the challenge in this page; select the option "other" below the challenge writing "Solution by YOUR NAMES " in the form and clicking the button GO. Then upload your Random Garden in your comment and save it.
